Clinic 1 Wed 30th October - Wed 30th October
4:00pm - 8:00pm
Open to Knights players in the U14-U16 age groups, these clinics engage with coaches who are operating at the 'next level' of British basketball to expose Knights players to the skills, concepts and demands of elite academy basketball in the UK. In addition to the on-court delivery, we will be holding a Q&A with the coaches for players and parents to gain an insight into the opportunities that are available to Knights players at their 'next level' beyond the U16 age group. These options include staying within the Knights programme, or moving into the Sixth Form Academy pathway
Camp notes
For our first clinic in this series, we are excited to be working with Rikki Broadmore, a leading basketball performance specialist and head coach at one of the country's most formidable elite basketball academies, Barking Abbey. Rikki has trained 7 of the 12 current GB Men's team players, as well as having coached many Knights alumni through the BA programme,
About Barking Abbey:
Established in 2005, Barking Abbey combines elite basketball training with academics, preparing players for professional careers. As the UK’s first Institute of Basketball, it provides expert coaching, strength & conditioning, and physiotherapy support.
