Knights Basketball – Terms & Conditions (Updated 04.07.25)
General Terms
- Cancelled Classes: If a class is cancelled due to low numbers, you’ll receive a full refund or credit for a replacement session. We’ll contact you via SMS and/or email, so please keep your account details up to date.
- Liability: Knights Basketball and its staff are not liable for any injuries or loss during sessions.
- Behaviour Policy: Participants will be bound by the policies and guidelines of our National Governing Body, Basketball England. Participants who are in breach of any of our club or BE policies (https://www.basketballengland.co.uk/integrity/policies/) will have appropriate action taken against them and may be removed from the programme without a refund.
- Medical Disclosure All medical conditions must be declared at the time of registration and kept updated via your account.
- Booking Process All sessions must be booked through Class 4 Kids unless otherwise directed.
- Photography Consent If you do not want your child to appear in marketing photos, please update your preferences in your account settings.
- Walking Home Consent To allow your child to walk home, update your account settings. Otherwise, a parent/carer must collect them.
- Booking Confirmation Bookings are only confirmed once payment is made. Sessions operate on a first-come, first-served basis.
- Illness Policy If your child has been unwell in the past 48 hours, please do not bring them to a session. Notify us of any absences by emailing: office@knightsbasketball.co.uk
- Missed Sessions No refunds are given for missed sessions due to personal reasons. Refunds are at the club's discretion.
- School/Veneue Closures Sessions missed due to school closures (e.g., strikes) are non-refundable. Check with us to see if the session will still run.
- Coach Absence If a coach is absent, a make-up session, credit, or refund will be offered.
- Club-Cancelled Sessions If we cancel a session, we’ll offer a make-up session, credit, or refund.
- Refund Policy All refunds are issued at the discretion of Knights Basketball.
- Payment Support. Bursaries are available for Team programmes.
- For Community programmes, contact office@knightsbasketball.co.uk if you need support—some schools offer PPG-funded places.
Academy & Team Subscription Terms
- Monthly Charges Subscriptions are charged on the 1st of each month, evenly spread over the season, regardless of schedule changes. If the payment fails, our provider will attempt to process it two more times. Please contact us to resolve any failed payments. The total costs of the entire season are distributed across ten payment months, regardless of the level of activity or number of sessions/games within each month. This is to the spread the financial cost and the full fee must be paid as this reflects the cost of the full season. If fees are not paid on the collection date, they must be settled within the payment month otherwise we reserve the right to pause participant activity.
- Payment Method Payments are not direct debits, they are taken from the card registered on your Class 4 Kids account. Keep your payment details current. Any refunds will be issued to that same card.
- Leaving Mid-Season A full calendar months’ notice is required. Please:

Your child’s full name
Team name (e.g., U14 NBL Girls)
Head coach's name
Reason for leaving
The email to the office triggers your notice period and processing.
5. End-of-Season Balances If any subscription payments are outstanding at the season's end, you’ll be invoiced for the total amount outstanding with payment terms. Please contact the accounts team if you need to arrange a payment plan on accounts@knightsbasketball.co.uk
6. Injury Pauses Subscriptions can be paused for injuries lasting more than 4 weeks. A medical note may be required. Email the office as per the leaving instructions to request a pause.
